Kate McGovern

Kate McGovern is a rising sophomore at the College of Charleston, pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education and a member of the Cougarettes Dance Team. As a freshman she danced for Endicott College, helping the team capture a 2026 UDA Open GameDay National Championship.

A proud DXNY alumna, Kate specializes in pom, gameday, hip hop, and jazz, and brings both her dance background and education training to class. Having gone through the recruitment process herself, she works to help each dancer build the technique, confidence, and preparation needed to make the leap from studio to stadium.
