From Hofstra to World Champion:
Train With Isabella Uberti

If your dancer has ever watched a college dance team take the floor at UDA Nationals and thought "that could be me," this class is where that starts.

On July 24, Isabella Uberti is teaching at DXNY in Hauppauge as part of our X Factor Series, the summer lineup that brings current and recent college team dancers to Long Island to train the next generation.

Isabella's resume is the real thing. She danced four years on Hofstra University's Division I Dance Team, right here on Long Island. In that time she earned four UDA National Championships across Pom, Jazz, and Game Day. Then she went international: the U.S. Premier Pom Team took her to the 2023 ICU World Championships and the 2024 Pan-American Championships, and she came home a champion from both.

She started dancing at age two and competed for eight years before college, so she knows the path your dancer is on. She's been at the studio barre, the high school tryout, the college audition, and the world stage.

What she teaches is technique. Jumps, turns, flexibility, the foundation that college coaches look for before anything else. College dance is athletic. Judges and coaches want clean doubles, controlled landings, and consistency under pressure, and that's exactly what this session drills.

This one is for the older dancers, grades 8 through 12. If your dancer is starting to think seriously about dancing in college, or just wants to train with someone who's done it at the highest level, this is a rare chance to do it without leaving Long Island.

You don't need to be a DXNY dancer to come. Dancers from any studio are welcome.

Spots are limited to keep the training personal. If your dancer wants individual feedback from a world champion, earlier is better than later.
